Our mission
To make access to medicines faster, easier, and more convenient by connecting customers with trusted local pharmacies through technology.
Live in Hyderabad
Pharmocia is an end-to-end medicine ordering and delivery platform. One system carries an order from a customer’s phone, through a licence-verified local pharmacy, to a verified handover at the door — and keeps a record of every step in between.
00About Pharmocia
PHARMOCIA is a technology-driven medicine delivery platform connecting customers with trusted local pharmacies. Our goal is to make ordering medicines simple, convenient, and accessible by bringing healthcare closer to every neighbourhood.
We help customers discover and order medicines from nearby pharmacy partners, while empowering local pharmacies to serve their customers through technology.
To make access to medicines faster, easier, and more convenient by connecting customers with trusted local pharmacies through technology.
To build a connected healthcare network where every neighbourhood can access medicines safely, conveniently, and with greater trust.
Healthcare should be simple, accessible, and closer to the people who need it.
Founder message
01The platform
A customer watching an order move and the pharmacist who accepted it are looking at the same order, seconds apart. Pharmocia keeps both on one backend and one database, so nothing has to be reconciled after the fact.
Customer app
Search the shelf, upload a prescription, pay, and follow the order to the door.
Pharmacy app
Accept orders, review prescriptions, run your own shelf, and see what you are owed.
02How an order moves
Six steps, in the order they happen. Each one is a state the order is actually in — not a stage in a diagram.
The customer finds what they need by medicine name, brand or category.
Prescription-only items are gated in the cart. Nothing reaches checkout without one attached.
Address, delivery fee, discounts and taxes are itemised, and the bill is settled up front.
A licence-verified partner pharmacy takes the order, reviews it and prepares it.
The pharmacy carries it, or a courier does. That choice is made after acceptance.
A code confirms the order reached the right person. Every step is timestamped.
03Prescriptions
Upload a prescription and the platform transcribes what it can see — medicine names, strengths, quantities — so a pharmacist does not have to type them out. That is the whole of its job.
It does not approve, substitute, or reject. Where an image is unclear, the order is marked unchecked and a person looks at it. The decision to dispense belongs to the pharmacy, every time, and the record shows who made it.
Extraction is a convenience. Judgement is a pharmacist’s, and the platform is built so it cannot quietly become anything else.
A photo of the prescription is attached to the cart.
Software transcribes what it can see, to save typing.
A pharmacist checks the transcription against the image.
The pharmacy dispenses, substitutes, or declines.
04Delivery
A pharmacy either carries the order itself or hands it to a courier. The partner decides per order, after accepting it — and because the bill is settled at checkout, that choice never changes what the customer pays.
| Self delivery | Courier delivery | |
|---|---|---|
| Who carries the order | The pharmacy’s own rider | A partner courier network |
| Who chooses | The pharmacy, after accepting | The pharmacy, after accepting |
| What the customer pays | Distance × the store’s per-km rate | The same — the method never changes it |
| Handover code | Issued by Pharmocia | Sent to the customer by the courier |
| Cash on delivery | Supported | Not available — cash requires self delivery |

05Payments and money
Item total, delivery fee, discounts and taxes appear separately — on screen, and again on the invoice.
Online payments run through established payment providers. Card details never touch Pharmocia.
Money returned is written down against its cause, so a single cause can never credit twice.
Pharmacies get a running statement of what they are owed, with refunds and adjustments carried through.
06For pharmacies
Pharmocia does not take over your counter. You keep your shelf, your prices and your judgement — the platform brings you the orders and keeps the paperwork straight.
Orders come from customers already near your counter.
You decide what you list and what you charge for it.
New orders, prescription reviews and pickups in a single view.
A settlement statement you can reconcile line by line.
07Trust and safety
Not a list of promises — a list of mechanisms. Each of these is something the platform does, and can be asked about afterwards.
A pharmacy’s business and licence details are reviewed before it can be listed, and verification gates the shelf — an unverified store cannot be selected for an order.
Prescription medicines pass through a dedicated review journey. Where an image cannot be read confidently, it is flagged for a person rather than guessed at.
Customers, pharmacies and operators each see only their own side of an order. Account standing is re-checked on every single request, not once at sign-in.
Order, payment and delivery events are recorded when they occur, so what happened to an order can be answered later without guesswork.
A delivery is closed by a code held by the person receiving it — confidence that the medicine reached the right doorstep.
When a dependency is unavailable the platform says so and stops. Nothing fabricates a success that did not happen.
08Availability
Two mobile apps, built for the two sides of the counter, both live on Google Play. Coverage grows a pharmacy at a time — each one verified before it takes its first order.

Pharmocia is currently live in Hyderabad. Coverage grows one verified pharmacy at a time — each store is checked before it can take its first order.
The target delivery window is 15–20 minutes once a pharmacy accepts an order, carried either by the pharmacy's own rider or by a partner courier network.
Only for prescription-only items, and only in the cart — they're gated there until a photo of the prescription is attached. Software transcribes what it can see; a pharmacist checks it against the image and decides whether to dispense, substitute, or decline.
Yes, when the pharmacy delivers the order itself. Cash on delivery isn't available through the courier network — that's the one thing the two delivery methods don't have in common, and it never changes what you pay.
Apply from the Pharmocia Partner app: tell us about the pharmacy and the area it serves, its business and licence details get verified, then you load your shelf, set your prices, and choose how you deliver before orders start arriving.
Independent, licence-verified partner pharmacies — never Pharmocia. Pharmocia is the technology platform connecting them to the people who need them; the decision to dispense always rests with the pharmacist.
One platform, two ways in — one app for the person ordering, one for the pharmacy dispensing. Both are on their way to the App Store and Google Play.
